This should be fun. What do you refuse to spend only on? Share your top 3!!
Uber eats or any restaurant food delivery service— ( don’t trust people with my food besides the fact that I can do it myself)
Getting my nails done—I do mine beautifully and hate waiting around and detest the sound of nail clippings
House Cleaning service—I have too much shame, lol and hubby and I keep each other honest about cleaning!

When it is my money-

1. Food delivery service. Other half does it all the time. I don't think it's worth the surcharge and the fees the restaurant gets hit with to participate. I'd rather call directly and place a to go order.

2. Bottled water at home or in restaurants. If on the go, sometimes unavoidable.

3. Grocery delivery

I’m trying to think…

Hahaha me too.

Getting my nails done.
Gambling.
Bank fees.
Credit card fees/interest.
Pre cut fruit.
Coffee from Starbucks etc except for the rare occasion. I prefer my coffee.
Designer shoes/clothing unless it's on sale.

That's all I can think of right now.

ETA I am sorry @nala I should have read your post more carefully. Top 3.

1. Gambling
2. Credit card interest and fees/Bank fees (that's one category for me :) )
3. Coffee that isn't my own

Good one @nala and I have similar answers…
Nails (do my own after a fungus!!!! Thankyouverymuch)
Housekeeper - do my own. We are empty nesters so it’s much easier now
Food delivery - I don’t know why but we pick up our own food here.

1. Food delivery
2. An item I don’t think is worth the money, even if I want it (I don’t mean something that’s more than I want to spend but something that very overpriced)
3. Still thinking lol

1. Interest other than low interest, tax deductible mortgage, financial related fees (bank, money manager/financial advisor, accountant) as I can DIY with better ROI
2. Gambling
3. Most beauty services and products, but this is more due to me refusing to spend the time at the salon/spa

I spend however I please and buy nice things, but I am generally very frugal and a super saver. I don't mind spending on things I want, but I do like to get the best price for them (within reason from an effort perspective). I do place high value on my time, experiences, services, and convenience, so I am willing to pay for delivery services even though I know they are adding a 50% fee.

1. Anything that isn’t on sale (by this I usually mean clothes, shoes, purses - I literally don’t think I have ever bought anything that hasn’t been reduced).

2. As others have said, credit card fees. I always pay the balance.

3. Buying a pet (e.g. paying for a breed vs rescue)

Many of you guys said house cleaning. Now that I pay for which helps my husband and I get along better lol. I’m the messy one.

1) Getting my hair colored...I hate being in a salon for long periods of time. I'd rather do it at home in spare time!
2) Getting my car washed. My DH and DS do a great job at home.
3) Fancy meals at fancy restaurants. I'd rather eat at a steak house while enjoying a beer. I just enjoy more casual dining.

There are others that many of you have already mentioned...credit card/bank fees, delivered food (we pick up), expensive items that
arent on sell...

I also hate being in a salon for hair or nails. Unlike some people I don't find it relaxing. I do however get my hair colored because I am terrible at doing it myself.

Lol I am not sure there is much, as right at the moment we will pay for someone to do something for us if it will save us some time. This didn't use to be the case, but at the moment we don't get enough time to expedite anything personally.

We dont spend so much on social stuff though. No fine dining or gourmet cooking ingredients (neither of us are foodies), and a bare bones kitchen. Actually we don't have a dinning table or chairs either come to think of it. No spa, salon etc. I get antsy with anyone touching my hair, face, nails. And I think 100% of our accessories are electronic gadgets :lol-2: , can almost trace out whole category of purses, shoes etc. I own some scarfs (people bring them as gifts from overseas. Oddly same goes for electronics, expensive chinese tea and bottles of Russian vodka.) but that's more or less it. No formal wear -- we'd never wear it. I am useless with makeup, so I own none.

1. super expensive kitchen appliances. I don't need a Sub-Zero; my Whirlpool fridge works just fine and it's old
2. A bigger house when I don't need the space; I have more than enough now
3. Wine over $20 a bottle for home use

+1 I like having nice nails, but not enough to sit there for an hour every 2 weeks.

I really hate the sitting part of getting my nails done, rather than feeling relaxed pampered I feel anxious doing nothing.

I feel the same way about getting my hair done. I can manage a haircut but any long process stuff drives me bonkers.

1. Television/tons of streaming services. We only have Netflix and even that we rarely watch, just enjoy reading and other activities more so it’s a waste of money for us.
2. Cosmetic procedures. I will get my nails done on occasion for fun, but no hair dye/treatments, eyebrows, eyelashes, botox, waxing etc etc. It’s not really an issue of cost, more that I’m just a private person and find those things awkward and uncomfortable.
3. Branded handbags or shoes, just not my thing.

Oh man I loooove getting my nails done and I definitely go to the salon! I used to color my own hair, but only because I am a painter and a lot of the same rules!

Mine are:
  1. Cable TV
  2. Internet paywalls
  3. Uber - it got so costly, we bought a car instead

1-socks and underwear (I know it sounds weird because there is lovely lingerie out there but I find it just soooo expensive and then a pain to delicately wash
2-wine over $10 a bottle. Don’t get me wrong, I’m a 2 glasses with dinner girl but I just don’t understand why one must spend a lot on a bottle so perhaps I have no palate
3-organic (I grew up before it was a thing and in any event it’s not the same thing as healthy rather it’s just a bunch of usda farming regulations…local is usually better and cheaper)

Oh man so many good answers here but for me:

Cable- don’t need it with all the streaming services

Gambling and lotto- I won one time on my birthday and DH lost the ticket in the grocery store when he went to cash it in. Never again.

Brand New Car-I’m not knocking anyone who buys brand new but for me I just can’t justify the depreciation when I drive it off the lot. I got my husband slightly used and he is still working and dependable, so same for a car.

How could I forget cable TV.
No way am I paying for TV. Not even streaming services. You pay for those, right?
I have 3 TVs, and they all get about 35 stations, after I delete all the religious and Spanish ones.
There's plenty to watch, just no ESPN, HBO, etc. But I don't need that stuff anyway. I'm not really into TV, except for PBS, and a few movie channels.
And there are a lot of free movies on Youtube.
