Has everyone voted?

I find it very encouraging that at the beginning the people with problems were the first to vote so the percentage with problems was VERY high, but the more people that vote, the fewer seem to have had problems. If there''s anyone else out there, I''d love it if you could vote, and let us know what happened to your ring (type of pave/where on the ring there was a problem/designer/how it happened, etc)! Thanks everyone!

I''d like to extend the poll a little bit by asking this -- Of those who HAVE lost stones from their pave ring, did you have any type of alterations done to your ring such as sizing up or down or adding sizing beads, etc., that might possibly play a role in causing a stone to be come loose?

I''m not blaming anyone for having these things done. I just wonder if this could possibly affect the durability of pave.

I did not do anything to alter my ring. Tacori makes each ring to size so it was not resized after it was made. I also only had the ring for a couple of months before the stone fell out. Also someone mentioned price might have something to do with it and I just want to say my setting was NOT cheap. Tacori can pretty much charge what they want because their designs are so popular. For what my FI paid for the setting I should NOT have lost a stone. Maybe it is a QC issue, maybe just the nature of the beast and a pave issue, and even though my jeweler is local and will replace lost melees for free it is still annoying to deal with. I think pave is beautiful but my e-ring might be my only pave piece in the future.

I have a pave e-ring and pave w-band, but I haven''t had the chance to wear them yet. So I did not vote. I''ll dig up this thread and vote after Sam proposes and I have worn the ring(s) for awhile.

Be back then.
