CareBear....sneaky. I don''t remember you mentioning your upgrade project at the GTG last month. That was a fast upgrade! Your new ring is gorgeous and I can''t wait to see it at the next GTG in September. It looks beautiful with your eternity band. This should definitely "hold" you over for a couple of years! Stonehunter, I never thought I go lower than a G but after seeing all these gorgeous Js on PS, I figured an I was pretty safe. turns out I''m perfectly fine with it. I think someone mentioned it before, but I also feel like my I has more "personality" than my previous G, more colorful I think.

roppongi, I totally wasn''t sure about the upgrade yet during the last gtg. I was still hung up over the color and having to pay for a new setting. but after seeing all that HUGE bling at the gtg, it got to a point where my mind was on the upgrade constantly. i dunno how many times I went through all the 2ct pics on PS. Finally, for the sake of my mental health (and my hubby''s who got so sick of hearing talk about it), I decided to just bite the bullet. I know i''d be kicking myself if diamond prices went up.

I took some more shots but unfortunately they all more or less look like the ones I took before. I''m terribly uncreative with my ring poses and have zero camera skills. One of these days, I need to send my girl over to Mara for a glamour shot session.

Haha I just saw this post...I would LOVE to babysit your darling gal one day for a photo shoot!!!! You could come too.

hehee. We''ll have to hit up Stanford for another GTG when the tulips and daffs are up next spring and then take turns putting everyone''s rings in the plants and taking pictures. Now THAT won''t look weird!!!
