The immigration drama is over!!! (Well, for the next 2ish years.) I got my leave to remain today!!!!!!!!!
For those who might not know, my boyfriend is English and I am American. For us to be together as a normal couple (as in, able to take our time towards marriage), I''ve had to move here to England. After 8 months of job searching, work permit applications and then leave to remain applications, this part of the legal paperwork is OVER!! I am now officially a UK resident!!!!
So I''m all good until August 2010, at which time James and I should either be married (having tackled even more of these sorts of applications) or living in the US.
Thanks. Just wanted to share my excitement and relief!
