The UK government had my passport. If I''d had left the country, I wouldn''t be allowed back in!

A slight downer to this is that I feel like it warrants a celebration (hey, it''s a big deal, at least to me!!), but J was just kind of like, "Oh, that''s great!" and that was it. He doesn''t tend to get really excited about anything--just not in his nature, whereas I like any excuse to celebrate. Life is too short!

Anyway, we also don''t have any money to go out to celebrate, and since he''s currently working opposite hours than me, we don''t have any time together to go celebrate either. It feels like another one of those big life things that''s going by without much hoopla (like finishing my thesis and then getting a really good mark on it). So, I am doubly glad to share this exciting news with all of you! Thanks.
