Thanks all! I think the pictures look lovely too and I'm hoping it looks even better in person. I'll post some neck shots for sure but it won't be the very second it receive it. This time of year work has me staying until midnight-ish so I'm too tired to think about taking photos when i get home.

Aoife: I think the black in the photo is either a reflection of the camera or shadow from the flash.

Thanks all! I really love it and Peter was great to work with. This was really a project where I had to really think about what I wanted (instead of going 'hey, make this thing for my stone' which is my normal m.o.)

I forgot to mention that the little loop on the back side picture is so that the chain won't show when you thread it through a scallop that isn't directly next to it.

lovinggems: Actually, no one in my real life notices my jewelry. I think the one comment I got on it was that my boss thought it was pretty.

crasru: There is a thread on the tourmaline here somewhere. It's a blue tourmaline that I bought from Gemline. And here it is.
