Newb here.....

SInce many online dealers dont have actual inventory of the diamond it is probably hard to tell how it looks with respect to cut.

If one is wanting a good cut (or ideal, etc), can one simply look at the recommended table/depth percentages for the diamond, and determine if the diamond on a website has a good cut if it fits in the table/depth parameters??

actually there are some great vendors here that DO have inventory in-stock. try using the ''pricescope your diamond'' search tool at the top of this page and select ''in-house'' you will get real time inventory.

depth and table alone can only give an indication of what cut quality might be. crown/pavilion angles will tell even more..and an idealscope image would be a real help.
