Hi, I''m posting here for the first time. : ) This site is great and I''ve learned a lot!
I''m considering a SI2 stone which has a comment "clarity grade is based on clouds not shown". I was told that it is eye-clean, and the clouds are Indistinguishable to the naked eye, and even hard to see under a loupe. Also, this stone scored Very High for brilliance, fire, and scintillation in the GemEx test. Should I still be concerned about the clouds? Looking at the picture of the stone and the DiamXray picture, it seems kind of fuggy.
I''ve read here that a stone Si1 or lower whose grade is based on clouds would look dull (by Garry?). Is this true for this stone as well?
Thanks,
Toni
