For completeness, here are some cushions that I personally would not consider due to finding their visual appearance unsatisfactory (to my eye):

So to summarise, if you are getting a massive diamond of amazing colour and clarity but which performs ...poorly... then you are getting ripped off. Of course performance is to some extent a matter of taste, which is why having stones to compare helps. But some of it is light performance, which is measurable as per below.

Here are two great videos if you want to see what I am talking about.

Ok lol, I'm going to stop spamming your thread now, but here are two more types of cushions you can add to the list if you like the bold contrasty look:

Very good and consistent performers, possibly (subjective!) lacking very slightly in personality:

Blue Nile Signature Ideal

2.04ct
G SI1
16.5k

Brian Gavin Signature Cushion

Thanks for all these to look at!

You cannot shop by the numbers. Even if they are "perfect", they can be duds in person. You need to see the stone itself and observe how it reflects the light. Unless you post macro pictures of the cushion, nobody can tell you anything else about it.

But I'm just wondering if it's a terrible proportion, because I was told it was shallow by another jewlwer going of these numbers. So I was I wondering why these numbers read as shallow? I don't really know what that means.

I think it reads 68%? If so, not it doesn't fall into the shallow category. There can be cut issues if too deep or too shallow but on rare occasions, there is the outlier that looks nice even though it is shallow or deep.

Thanks for the info. Sounds like cushions are too confusing for me!
