Valeria,

If you find this, I would be SO thankful if you''d use your tools to "draw" me the Stuller setting my girl likes so much with a tulip head similar to the Niwaka Water Lily.

I have a hard time grasping things visually, and I figure if we''re going the custom route, I need to know what I''m looking at.

Thanks again!

I can''t get the Water Lily head from Niwaka.com to post.

Can anyone help me?

This is the tulip head; it''s lower and more "cuppy" or "squatty" than Stuller''s tulip head.

Valeria, You''re AWESOME! Thank you, thank you.

Thanks!

It is very nice, but I wonder if the head would sit up that high?

Maybe the Stuller is better, because it would sit more flush with the cathedral portion?

Any opinions?

That is a matter of how the shank and head are put together. Basically, either way should be feasible for either of the two settings.

why don''t you email WF the picture pricescope made for you??? It''s awfully close to the one they are proposing...I''m sure it can be done the way you want...or at least I would think.

It looks like what you want is a ''cathedral'' style shank with wider ''arms''... Stock shanks have those longer as much as I can tell (at least some). Perhaps they were simply cut more for the ''Fine Line'' settings.

Besides, in the Niwaka ring, the sides of the shank slope up towards the head (concave) as opposed to the Fine Line''s convex profile. Small differences...

I am not so crazy about the twisted shank of the first Stuller ring posted. My impresion - nothing bad about it.

A solitaire by Roseco (listed at Wink''s) might come closer.

Thanks, Valeria.

I''m not sure what you mean by arms, or anything, but I do like that picture you posted, and I''m on my way to see the site you mentioned.

Thanks again!

My cathedral is by Roseco bought from Winks

Something to think about Argh. I also like the niwaka or cathedral with tulip head better than the stuller...that''s my opinion though. I just think the stuller looks...I don''t know not substantial...for lack of better words. I think you''d be safer putting it in that tulip design that WF shows or get them the pics that are on this thread. They''ll get something for you Argh!

... the picture of the shank used to photoshop the last one comes from HERE - a link from Wink's site. The shanks are listed among his solitaires, I think.

Would you think the fine line, posted below, would be a better bet than the sleek line that I posted above?

Hey, and it''s only 250? I like that.

How do I find the website to Wink? Your link only took me to the page with that one setting, Valeria.

Wow, I''d never been to that site. They have a TON of cathedrals!

Here''s one I like, and I think it has arms like the Niwaka?

Can the head on it be changed, because I only saw one ring without a head, and all their heads are for stones MUCH bigger than we''re looking for.

Argh! This computer''s not letting me save them so I can attach and post.
