Hello all! I''m going to post a few Tacori''s, and I was hoping for a little vote! I realize they are VERY similar (lol) but I am trying to decide between engraving all around/no engraving, baguettes v. rounds on the side, and the different sorts of side views of the "crescent sillhouettes".

Thanks guys!!!!!
Lane :)

#2 for me. I like round with round. I find the other side stones distract from the center stone, which IMO should be the star of the show!!

ETA: Oops, I also like #3. I think baguettes enhance

2 or 3. I prefer 3 between the two, the shoulders on 2 seem to be really low. Not a bad choice in the bunch!

Thanks -- the center stone is a .81 ct Round Brilliant, VVSI, Ideal cut, H colour (inherited from my great-grandmother). I''m doing a new setting for it. Three questions on my mind:

a) Should I be worried that it will look dark next to the better-coloured side diamonds?
b) Also, it''s not as huge as the centre stones in these pictures, so that''s another thing to take into consideration. I don''t want the setting to eat it up! :)
c) Also, I''im not sure I like the heavy U shaped prongs of number 3 -- the prongs on numbers 1 and 2 seem to flow better out of the ring itself.

Thanks, you guys rock!

Hey thanks!! THe shoulders are the sides, then? (I''m new heheh). I just noticed that!! Good eye. I think number 1 is set lower (which I do like) and number 2 seems to lift the diamond up to the light, in a nice way, as long as it''s not too high. Are you bothered by the bulkiness of the prongs in 3? Thanks!!

What color are the side diamonds? I have a G center stone next to H side stones and they look fine.
I would pick 1 or 2 if you do not like the prongs. I would go to a store that carry''s Tacori and have them drop a .80 carat stone in a setting so you can see what it looks like.

Thanks, Skippy! Yes, I should certainly go down to a store and check it out. I''m deep at work on a paper for school right now (heheheh) so just having a little fun and gathering opinions ;-) I didn'' t know you could do that in a store, though, so that''s good!

Does anyone know what colour sides Tacori uses in settings?

Thanks guys! So far, #2 is ahead with six votes, #3 has four votes, and poor little #1 only has one vote! I''m still very curious if #1 will gain any support lol... :)

I definitely like #2 the best!

I do like #1, but I prefer the scalloped side of #2 a bit more than the swerve-y detailing (which I also like) and #2 flows better from the top view. I don't care for the shank going up to the top of the diamond.

I do not like #3 because I do not like the prongs at all... I just don't care for the thick U-shaped prongs. And in general, I just don't like the side view. And although I love baugettes with rounds, I don't like how it's done with this ring; I don't like the 3 small diamonds on the east and west of the center stone making it look almost like an east-west oval.

I like #1 and #2. I think #2 will sparkle the most (b/c of the rounds) but there is something about #1 that really speaks to me. They are all beautiful. Don''t worry about the color of your center stone. Mine is an "I" and I do not notice a difference. How excited. Seems like you are getting closer!
