I wanted a balance between a little bling to make it interesting and a classic look that wouldn''t distract too much from the center stone. I''m going to send it back soon to get this made flush: White Gold 1.9 mm Common Prong Wedding Band I think I''ll get the claw prongs done while it''s there. I''m nervous about changing anything on her!

Awww Thanks! I have to take a good picture of mine one day- maybe outside. Ovals sparkle so much in the sun. Yeah yours is 1.36 l/w, which is perfect IMO. I always wanted sidestones but yours looks amazing as a solitare- it really emphasizes the great shape. It looks set high enough for a band to match it- unfortunately I''m going to have to wear one separately. Enjoy it!

Hehe yeah gemgirl, if I wasn''t sending it back to get the wedding band made, then I wouldn''t send it back at all.

Scorpio, I *really* love three-stones that mix shapes. I think my ideal would be a marquise with two pear sidestones. But I wanted to do a classic solitaire for my e-ring. And it''s set nice and high but they said that there would be a little gap between the two rings and that would drive me nutters. Did you end up getting the garland band or did you go with something different? And you''re right, after hearing that RBs were the tops for sparkle, I was surprised to see how much my oval sparkles both indoors and out. But I''m asking for some sort of cleaner for Christmas to keep it sparkly!
