Samantha Red Cut Rock Total Posts: 384 Last Post: 12/14/2009 Member Since: 1/9/2007	Okay so I haven't started trying anything on yet because I would like to lose about 40 more pounds before doing so, but I have doing lots of research of what I like the look of. I really like the mermaid, fishtail style of dress; particularly considering I will be mid 40's by then. I would love to see this style of dress on real people instead of models. So, if you got married in this style of dress would you please post a photo for me to look at, I will be really grateful. Many thanks

This Alvina Valenta is a little different than a lot of the others I tried on, as the bodice isn't supertight. I'm big on comfort and I ruled out quite a few other mermaid styles because they felt too constricting. Good luck with your search!

Missrocks Ideal Rock Total Posts: 518 Last Post: 5/5/2008 Member Since: 12/28/2007	The material on the bodice was about 3/4 inch thick (who needs an those x-tra inches added anyways??) It was super constricting and heavy for my tastes. But it is another example of a mermaid style on a non-model.
