thank you thank you for these photos! your ring is fabulous. funny that you mention Memoire, because all i could think was how perfect something similar would look next to my Memoire eternity! now if only my upgrade could come sooner than later...

Lynn, I originally spoke with Leon about creating what I have now. Before my fiance submitted the final work order, however, we decided to go with the cathedral shank because we were scared that a flat shank wouldn''t turn out just right. Leon doesn''t draw pictures of simple custom settings before making them, which added to my fears. In the end, we received the ring pictured. It was a nice surprise from Leon and we didn''t mind him taking the initiative to give us what we initially wanted.
Here''s another arrow pic. You can see how the prongs are slightly uneven (which drove me nuts for about five minutes), but now I don''t notice it.

*whew!* I''m glad it turned out so well for you. So you originally wanted one like Harriet''s, but you have no regrets now? Well, it seems to me that Leon took a bit of a chance by making it without the cathedral arms... but I guess he was confident that you would be 100% thrilled. It sure is a killer ring.
