Playing with star stones

I got out my favourite star stones - star ruby, a star rose quartz and the rest unheated star sapphires - and I noticed a little bit of asterism in my Mahenge spinel. It is pretty much a faint sparkly dot that moves around the gem. In the close up photo below it is the faint glow between and a bit below the two bright reflections of the sun. This unique ring has really grown on me! It is a very happy stone that I don't get tired of looking at.

Was your rose quartz ring originally from Loupe Troop? Is that what LT stands for you in your thread about it?
