What are your favorite things about Summer???

Having my kids home from school so pressure seems off
The smell of freshly cut grass
Sitting on my front porch in the evening reading a book
Taking fun vacations (can''t go during the school year because of the kids)
Going to art fairs
Wearing cute summer sandals (some of winter footwear seems boring!)
Taking care of the flowers that I plant
Corn on the cob and yummy fruit (I could live on fruit!)
Going to the local ice cream place "Pied Piper"

More I''m sure!!!!

Like Mandarine....I like summer the least too.

Mandarine and Luckystar, you just gotta move to the Land of Enchantment (NM).

I love the sunsets.
Sound of crickets.
Lightning storms.
Summer road trips.
Popcicles
Seeing the kids outside playing games.
Couples walking and holding hands.
Lightning bugs.
Butterflys and ladybugs

storms but not as much as I used too asthma sux.
A few years back woulda said the shooting, fishing and camping but haven''t been doing much...

I am so jealous of you (in a good way) living in San Diego!!! You have the most perfect weather year round. My friend is a CPA and lives out there; she is always rubbing it in

. She tells me how she went riding in the sand dunes and Jet skiing near Vacation Island and hiking out in La Jolla!

- hubby can endulge in his newly-found passion of landscaping/maintaining the outside, and I don''t have to listen to him crab about not being able to be outside!

- driving with the car windows down and the sunroof open
- fresh produce (hard to get in New England otherwise)
- no SNOW
- blueberry, apple, and peach picking
- my wedding anniversary
- no SNOW
- the smell of the ocean at the beach on a hot summer night
- long languid days
- no SNOW
- grilling out
- slow time of the year for me at work
- did I mention NO SNOW??
