What is their size? The stats predict two stones with relatively less spread than feasible and the price should reflect this as it happens for fancies...

The detail you give makes me think these are sold as ideals with some indication of light return as well. Any pictures ?

here''s what i don''t like about "b"
the depth & table are virtually identical. often, you wont'' get as much sparkle with these #''s being so close. keep the table, in say, the 60''s and depth in 70''s <--------just a guideline!!!!
get the crown height higher! 12-14% (ish)

there is only a lightscope image for "a" which is unfortunate..........it''s one of the best ways to tell if a princess will have *lots* of sparkle!!

what do you want out of a princess? ..........size? color? cut? price will effect all of these in different ways.
*please keep in mind, these are only my opinions and are what i look for when i''m looking at princess stones!*

Belle,

Thanks for taking the time to respond.

Ideally in a princess cut I am looking for the following:

D or E color (I can tell the difference with the lower color ranges)
VS1 or higher
Ideal cut with lots of white light, scintillation, color light in that order.

I am more interested in having a princess cut diamond with a lot of "life" than the size. I''d be happier with a .85ct really well cut diamond than a 1ct good cut. So many of the ones I see are just really "flat" looking.

Belle,

This one looks great...question...does the smaller table size make the diamond appear a lot smaller? The imagescope pictures look fantastic.

the table size itself is not what makes your diamond look bigger or smaller. it has more of an impact on light dispertion(<---??) and the lightscope image on this one is super. lightscope in lieu of personally seeing a diamond (especially with princess) is really the only indication of light performance.
