To my dearest diamond experts,

I need some expert advice. I''ve acquired two loose oval stones. One is a .17 D/SI Oval and the other is a .18 E/VS Oval. Now I want to set it into a 3 stone ring. Sorta like the past, present, future for a RHR. What carat size would fit between those two stones? Would a .50ct be too big? Would it look out of proportion? Or my other thought was maybe .35-.40ct.

What combination will look the best?

TIA

I think .50ct center stone would look great. But I am bias because I tend to like 3 stone rings with smaller sidestones, so the main focus is the center stone and sidestones are more for accents.

I think .50 would be perfect. I have a .54 round with .18 pears and the size is great.
