Where to move with warm weather, jobs, schools?

Hong Kong. It's relatively expat friendly, economy is pretty good, and nice beaches less than an hour from your doorstep. The major disadvantage is the high cost of rent here, but if you can get a housing allowance from your company that helps a lot.

PS I used to live in Vancouver and I hear the housing market there is nuts due to the influx of foreign money, it's almost as expensive as Hong Kong or New York now!

Newcastle in the UK would be a big no-no for what you're looking for. There are nice parts of every town, but my experience of Newcastle here is a bit rubbish. Obviously this is just my opinion, but it's very industrial, lots of poverty, crime, cr@p weather & in the summer there is lots of smog. The climate is typical UK: cold wet winters, wet spring & autumn & hot summer. I have no idea about their schools, but I suspect there are good & bad. I live in Cheshire & if I was to move anywhere else in the UK, Newcastle would not be on my list :eh:
