Hey all , you have helped me alot with your site/forums.
I'm looking at a stone and just want your opinions on it it is a round
pgs cert
.65
e
vs2
61.2 depth
56 table
35 crown
40.5 pavillion
very good symetry/ polish
light blue florecence
it's from a b&m store and it goes for about 2500

The pavillion and crown look like they have either been guestimated or rounded off. Do you have a sarin report or did you get those angles from the dealer?

What about crown height? girdle thickness? Is it certified? What are its proportions, dimensions in mm?

If all the stats are correct the stone looks lovely and the price seems to be quite reasonable.

those are the angles the dealer gave me , I''m going to look at the stone today so i can see the sarin then and get the rest of the info I just asked for the basics so I could check it on the hca . it is a PGS cert

When I saw those, I thought that they had been rounded off if not totally guestimated. I am not familiar with PGS cert. Make sure you take it to an independent appraiser if you buy it....

I wasn''t sure about the pgs cert till I did a search of the forums on here. it is out of illinois and is a less expensive cert cause it doesn''t have the history of the other big ones, but it was said to be comparable to ags on here .

Then PGS cert should be fine. Reputable in his field.

15.5 crown height
40.5 pavillion angle
43.0 pavillion depth
thin to medium girdle
very good - excelent polish /symetry
