With the bezel setting, what carat weight do you think this pendant is given the illusion of looking?

Thanks!

I''d guess that it *is* a .33, but looks like a .45 due to the bezel. Do we win a prize if we''re right???

(read my sig below)

What carat weight is it?
Then maybe we can evaluate if it looks big or small for the carat weight.

My thinking is similar to Deco''s. It almost looks like a half carat, but if I focus on eliminating the bezel, I''d guess probably 1/3 ct.

Wouldn't that be cheating on your dream Lucida bezel pendant?! Yes, I think it would. But if you won this pendant, I'd hold it for you. It'd match my earrings.

Y'know, I'd do it to help you out.

Okay, if you can guess the number of jelly beans in the jar, you win the pendant!

What''s the height, weight and neck circumference of the model? A comparison against someone''s neck can b very deceiving. I apologize if I guessed too small! I tried to imagine a pendant looking tt size on myself, which led to my conclusion of it being 0.20 - 0.25, cos I have a small neck. I use a 14 inch chain when I want a pendant to sit the way it is in the pic.

hahaha It is me in the photo. Do I have to disclose my weight?

The diamond is .38 and is on a 16" chain. The weave of the chain is thicker though as I was worried about getting a delicate chain and having my kids yank on it and break it.. I wish it looked bigger w/the bezel, like .60. . .but, I''m just trying to get an idea of what size diamond to order for a prong pendant.

It''s soooooo hard to guess carat weight in pics for me, but I''m going to guess about .6 because I have a similar pendant of that size.

I didn''t read any of the responses until I made my initial guess. I was way off, but in a good way as far as looks go. :) I have a .59 ct VERY similar (if not the same......) pendant and yours doesn''t look smaller to me really.

So I got it right PROPORTIONALLY. 0.38ct with 16 inch chain vs 0.25 ct with 14 inch chain. Do I get half a jelly bean?

Beautiful pendant, the size looks great on your neck. Gotta love the bezel!!! It definitely helps with size.
