What is the name of this setting?

I am planning to set a 1.7 carat 53 spread on a platinum solitaire setting. How much would it cost to buy/make this setting?

There's no way to keep the proportions of that ring for a 7mm-ish stone... so the look will be different.

Kayla had a simple solitaire made at Artofplatinum (link to thread) so she might know what a ballpark is.
