Can the Vendor provide you with more information?? Crown height, Sarin, light performance analysis?? Does the Vendor have this diamond "In house" so they can give you their own "eyeball" impressions of it??

Specs are a great place to start in screening Princess cuts, but Prins really need to be visually evaluated.

To start, accepting SI2 with an EGL-cert is going on a very slippery slope. With any SI2, you should make sure that the stone is eye-clean.

Good polish is actually not good. It is important to know where this ''bad'' polish is located, and whether it brings down the light performance.

Finally, the other numbers learn you little about a princess-cut, other than it is square. Even the current Sarin and OGI-measurements offer insufficient information in order to judge the light performance.

You should be aware that more than 50% of the currently available princess-cuts would get an AGS-cut-grade (soon to be launched system) of 5 or lower.

Live long,
