Agreed. If you love it, that's the only thing that matters. But I definitely think you could do better.

Did you read the reports that you posted? The stone only got fair on light return, fire, and scintillation (should be excellent on those) and a total HCA score of 5.9 and we recommend a score of 2.0 or less. It's a little deep and that makes it face up in diameter a little smaller than a 1.5 ct stone should. If the stone was discounted significantly, then I can see why you may have gone with it. But I hope you didn't overpay since the cut isn't so great. GIA "Excellent" cut is unfortunately a very broad range, and you may have stones ranging from truly excellent down to just acceptable. It pays to come to a site like this before you buy or during the shopping process so we can help you know which stones are better than others.
