What about girdle??

I haven''t been able to find a lot of information on girdle, and what I find I''m not sure I understand. What are the appropriate low limits for girdle numbers? Is thin desirable? Should you also expect to have medium (and what is medium?) and should thick be avoided? Any education for me would be appreciated. Thanks....of course!

Although I''m a bit unclear on this with some of the changes, the text on this in the tutorial seems pretty clear on the face of it, with the range of thin to slightly thick being most desirable. That, supplemented with this, also in the tutorial, is pretty complete, I think.
