I read and reread many of his books, starting in the 8th grade, which would have in 1959 and 1960 for me, depending on whether I started early in the school year of late, and I do not remember, I just remember sitting in the vaulted ceiling library and being amazed at some of his works. I think I last read Childhoods End back in the late 70s or early 80s.

Sadly, like Asimov, I can tell you the name of many of their books, but I cannot remember the content of most of them. I can give you only a very rough outline of Childhood's end and also of The Foundation Trilogy by Asimov, but I will watch the video you attached this evening if I can, I cannot watch it at work. Sometimes it sucks being the boss of me, as I always catch myself...
