What?? A Chip??

And now the saga continues!

Found a jeweller that will buy my ring off of me. Appraised @ $17000, paid about $7000 for it. Funny thing is that my previous hubby had upgraded my diamond two weeks before we separated

. Now it appears that two of the diamonds have chips in them (or so the jeweller says). He is actually quite reputable, but yet I am so angry because I cannot understand how this happens? I rarely wore them...have never hit it once (very low with large half bezel guards). Is it possible that our old jeweller sold us them chipped? I am pretty much lost over all this.

Did you verify for yourself that the stones are chipped?

Are you saying your ex "upgraded" to chipped stones 2 weeks before you split?...maybe he's smarter than you give him credit for!
