Apparently something is definitely happening in the US...

Public Jewelry Corp.''s are reporting lower to mixed results and the predictions for the next year dont look to pink.


"Goldman Sachs now joins Merrill Lynch in concluding that the United States is in a recession. Merrill Lynch was first to make the claim two days ago. Morgan Stanley determined the country is in a "mild recession." The White House does not agree however with the findings by investment bankers."

....but I won''t because this is not a debate forum.

The signs of a recession have been here for a long time and there has been a lot of denial and burying of heads in sand.

yes, we''re in a recession. and from what i''ve read, its our fault: consumers just aren''t buying enough to keep the economy afloat.

We've been in a recession for a while now, but it's only really been "official" for about 2 months. That's why this next election is so important. The Comptroller General has come out in the past year and started telling us how things really are going to be for the future of this country, unless we make some BIG changes...
