Trade in my 2 Carat Solitaire?

I have a 2 CT H/I round solitaire in platinum with an SI1 clarity.

It''s not yet GIA certified. Purchased at Barmakian in Nashua.

My question is should I try to sell it online or just trade it in.

If I trade it in what is a fair value/% of what it cost?

Hi there:

I sold a diamond ring to a wholesaler in my area, and ended up with about 1/3 of the value (in cash). I found him in the phone book. I did have a EGL cert, and it was a D color diamond.
