Too many projects - not enough time - coloured diamonds!

This thread is really for TL and PR as we started talking about it on another thread. Anyway, here's a sample of some of my coloured diamonds that I've got waiting around! I am hoping to set them into a multi coloured diamond ring and will attach the inspiration photo. So, without further ado .....

Pictures taken on a dull overcast day on the window cill. All diamonds are natural apart from the green, blue and dark purples. The rest comprise pinks of all different shades, orange/brown, yellow, a pentagon chameleon etc.

This is for TL - this is the natural orange/brown diamond. Hugely included BUT it has some wonderful orange fire!

Wow, LovingDiamonds, you''ve got an amazing collection! And that inspiration ring is fabulous, I look forward to seeing yours whenever you decide to get it made.

I was wondering, do you find that your colored diamonds are as firey/scintillating as your white ones? Or is it that the darker colored diamonds tend to produce fire their own color, whereas the lighter ones produce more colors? Or something completely different?

Cool array of colors and shapes. Wow, that is going to be some amazing ring. Are those some pinks I spot? Thanks for the picture of your orange diamond. Very pretty.

That pentagon chameleon is especially wonderful. Do you have closeups?

Austen Nut - With a white diamond you get a rainbow of different colour fire but with a coloured diamond you get flashes or rainbows of a limited range of colour e.g. my green diamond shows yellow, blue, green, red fire. Depending on the colour of the diamond it will depend on the fire - so if you look at the orange/brown above, you can see yellow and orange fire very clearly. Does that help?

TL - you most certainly do spot pinks! The box almost in the middle is pinks, there's a pink lilac and a pink in the box on the left, the princess at the front is pink (a sweet baby pink that hasn't photographed well) and the 2 marquise are also pink lilac! Isn't the inspiration ring amazing? This project keeps coming to the top of the list and then going back down again. One day I'll get it made lol!

Glitterata - sorry I don't have any close ups. I took the photos this morning and just pushed all of them into a group but only took pictures of the orange because I'd promised TL. The lights gone here now so I can't take any more today. Sowee.

I have a feeling that it''s mainly blue flashes rather than fire but .............. need to check lol!

And that inspiration ring is super Blingalicious!!! That would definitely stop traffic for sure.
