I do know of the torture of waiting, I missed the delivery of my new OEC diamond studs yesterday. Rather than wait until today to pick them up at the post office I stood outside the post office in the back where the drivers come back at the end of the day. I stood outside in 20 degree NY night sky like a stalker waiting for my mail lady for an hour. My toes were numb but it was worth it.

That came out great! You make me jealous. LOL I think its a very handsome ring, the stone is the perfect size, for the band, love the finish and the Cobalt Chrome. I was thinking about getting that metal but didn't want to spend the extra couple of bucks. Let us know how it holds up. I think the lines on the ring work really well with the cut of the stone too. I was looking at a setting like that at one point, but I was stuck with a round cut and wasn't convinced it would look good. You picked the right setting for the right stone. Enjoy it and don't be embarrassed to show it of.

I have not read all your posts so I don't know how many rings you have but its sounding like you need to start a Diamond Club for Men.

I'm LOVING wearing this diamond.
It is sooooooo fine.
As with all diamonds, it's a chameleon but all of its looks draw me in.
Also since my SO Octavia is in a 3-year old titanium setting that has a brushed finish everywhere I'm comparing it to my Cobalt Chrome setting with high polish in the channel that is to the left and right of the diamond.

In his the diamond really stands out since the metal is darker.
In my whiter and higher-polish setting the Octavia blends in, almost extending the borders of the diamond so it looks bigger.

Right now I'm so happy.
I'll never want/buy another diamond, unless I can commission a 2 to 3-carat Octavia from fully-natural pure Red, Green or Blue rough.
Like THAT's gonna happen.
The only way that will happen is if I hit the lottery.

Interesting.
I have worn platinum and titanium, and now Cobalt-Chrome and have always experience sweating as a result of temp/humidity, but never noticed a difference in metals.

I'd guess a wider ring results in more sweating, since more of your skin is covered so perhaps your titanium ring was just wider than your rings of other metals????
