Toi & moi or leave as is?

Originally I wanted to set the ruby with 2 diamonds to make a trilogy but now I'm thinking about a toi & moi with this diamond. Or just leave the diamond as it or make it into a pendant and keep looking for a pair for trilogy. Wwyd?

I am not an expert, but my initial reaction is that the color of the diamond does not look good with the ruby. Of course that may be mitigated by the color of the setting?

@Mrsz1ppy thank you, I see what you're seeing. I'm having second thoughts about making it into a pendant, the setting is so beautiful- it's platinum. Diamond is warm but clear and incredibly sparkly.
