they''re .72ct RB''s with 62.9% total depth. many of you say a shallower cut would look better on earrings.is that true? if i do a recut,i would also reset them into a martini setting.

just buy her a new pair, and reset the current ones in something else.

yeah not sure how much you''d actually make them better looking by recutting them into a shallower set, also depending on the stones they may not be able to be cut the way you want them...have you had anyone look at them yet?

find out how much carat weight you''d lose as well.

but i would just buy a new pair! why not! as long as she wears the new ones...

I doubt that depth alone is responsible for those famous sparkles. If you want a 'perfect' pair for fun, the one way to figure out if and what can be improved from the current state of affairs is to get the suckers seen by a cutter of H&A... You know that
