i''m not too sure what to do with my left-over diamonds. the smaller ones are around 1.4mm in diameter and the "bigger" ones are a smidgen larger. i would love a long diamonds by the yard necklace but i''m sure these diamonds would be way to small and get lost in the chain. so for now...i''m not too sure.

you made me doubley happy! i have been training for 19 years and, as a result, have veiny hands, large knuckles and nails that always have to be kept short and stumpy. so...thank you for your comment about my rings....and...my hands. i have to say, i did giggle out loud the first time i read it.

the picture of all of them stacked on my finger is of my actual wedding stack...so i wear it this way daily (initially, i wasn't too sure if it was TOO much but i finally decided that because i don't wear any other jewellery, that it was okay).

and so, to kill two birds with one stone (ref your next question), my stack consists of the following (from bottom to top):

1. wedding band; 1.8 mm plain band
2. 1-year-wedding anniversary ring (re-modelled); 1.8 mm diamond eternity
3. engagment ring

; 7 x 11 pointers
4. "us" ring to mark the birth of my two boys and the completion of our little family (3 blue surprise sapphires and 1 pink surprise sapphire are embedded in the inner band; the blues represent my boys (2 sons and husband) and the pink, me); 3/4 princess cut channel set
5. 5-year-wedding anniversary ring; 4 point bezel eternity
