The housing crisis and economic collapse

I don''t know much, but my question is, is this whole economic crisis the result of the Democrats and ACORN? I remember doing data entry at Countrywide in 2006, and seeing ppl with credit scores in the 500''s get financing!!! Also, people with what they call "no doc" (no documentation) of income!!! People with several BK''s!!! This whole idea that everyone deserves a house. Is this what started some of this? Of course the wars did not help, and 911. I''m sure Republicans are to blame too.....
