After weeks of almost constant cloudiness and rain, the sun finally came out this afternoon! I ran outside to take some pictures of my diamond's fire.

This turned out to be much more difficult than I imagined! I have a cheap point and shoot digital camera with auto focus and almost every time I tried to take a picture it would go out of focus at the last second.

Out of around 20-30 photos these are the best...

When you click reply in the topic, there's a little diamond icon up top underneath "insert" and you can add pictures that way. You will probably need to save the phone pics to your computer and upload to here from your computer. HTH!

I'm loving the new pics and all your pretties! And I'm glad to see the thread still lives on. Such a happy thread.

And Eilonwy, I looked at that first pic again today and was struck with just how stunning it is. Not only for the perfect placement of the rings, but the lighting, the sweet but "quiet" fire, and the turqoise and brownish background. It's just perfect!
