Yaay for arrows! Your rings are so fabulous ladies

Here are a couple pics of mine....

Quick question - do you get better arrow shots inside or outside? I have yet to try outside (it''s still cold and icky here) but any pointers would be great

Well woohoo! Nice shots ladies.

Mrs., I''ve gotten great shots both inside and out. The key to some of the best shots (though not absolutely necessary) is to have the light source behind the stone. So inside, on the windowsill seems to produce great shots, and then outside, when the sun is low (AM,PM), again with it behind the diamond. Just experiment though, you''ll find you can get them in all kinds of places, regardless!

My hearts and arrows diamond.......I got one pretty okay shot of it, don''t know how to link yet but it it under "HD to set my diamond". It was a fluke shot, one of the first few shots I took, wasn''t planning on catching the H&A but glad to have it.

I FINALLY found them!

I''ve had my beautiful ER for almost 2 years now. In all that time, I''ve never figured out a way to find the arrows hiding inside and was beginning to think they just didn''t exist in my ring--which made me very, very sad...

I believe that my ring may just be the single most photographed ER in the entire world

. Hundreds (if not thousands!) of shots on my digi-cams and still: NOTHIN.''..!

Then, last week I was hanging out in my hotel room in Boston looking out onto the bright, beautiful, sunny Charles River. I just couldn''t pass up the opportunity to try ONE MORE TIME in that great natural light to find even a HINT of an arrow.

So I took the pics (in macro mode of course) and immediately downloaded them onto my laptop. Several crops later and....VOILA!

I was so excited, I did a little "arrow dance" in my room.

So now, the only thing I have to whine about is the fact that my ring was soooo dirty at the time of the photo and it''s been so macro-d and cropped that now the shank and pave look kinda bad. Luckily, IRL everything looks PERFECT...as perfect as you''d expect from our friend Mark T. at ERD who made my ring.

So, here you go. Here are my little friends!
