Synthetic Sapphires......

After reading and participating on this forum, I do not read much about synthetic sapphires.
Is this a forbidden topic?
If not, I was wondering how much do synthetic sapphires cost /ct
Blue or Red or Pink.
What are some of the factors that can affect the cost per carat ?
(since its synthetic, i believe zoning is not possible and flaws are fewer and far between right?)
