If you choose Greece, I'd be happy to post my recommendations for Santorini and Athens. We stayed in the lovliest place in Oia (Santorini) - a mom and pop type of business that owned cave houses cut into the cliffs - and found a GREAT restaurant and drove around to all these little random wineries... I could seriously go on and on! It was so romantic and beautiful and FUN! We weren't necessarily on a "budget" but we also weren't staying in the major five star places. We saved a lot of money and couldn't have been happier.
