I had 6mm studs once and I agree, on me I thought they were too small. But 7.5 feels pretty good! And obviously I love the make on those stones. Maybe it’s “sad” to take your first stone out of the setting, but because you thought to do it, now you have two of those rare cuts and frankly two is better than one.

People have said oh I can’t remove it the setting is perfect for that stone. But wasn’t perfect for what I wanted from the diamond.
I’m sure you can relate.
