I simply can''t believe that Leon Mege hasn''t been snapped up yet. It''s a really incredinle ring, and I think it''s been on Pearlman''s site for at least 6 months, if not longer.

No, seriously. I can''t look. I''m sure some others will pop up after midnight. Late night web browsing extravaganzas are the greatest. Most of the stuff I find that I really like, I find late at night.

Any colored stone or antique stone or really nice diamond at a great deal. Any antique or vintage piece (do searches on here for vendors)... Signed pieces, pearlmans, anywhere that sells pre-owned stuff, any vendor (like solomonbrothers) that have ''clearance'' or specially priced sections... anything really!

Very nice, but personally I''d prefer the bracelet and the big sister of your earrings.

The big earrings are lovely, but not for daily use. The bracelet, however ...

Oh I wouldn''t want them for daily use. I''d lose, destroy, kill them in some way if I did that-- happens to most my earrings. I''m scared of getting studs for everyday use... let alone HW earrings!! LOL. I''m good with bracelets though. Every day... and with the earrings for dressy time.

You have great taste Harriet.

Silly girl -- you''re more likely to damage a bracelet than a pair of earrings.

Thanks for the compliment!

You''d think so wouldn''t you?

The problem with earrings is that after a few hours they REALLY bug me... so I''ll stash them ANYWHERE just to get them off me ear. And if it''s at home... my cat Hally has a fondness for things that sparkle (she''s a totally jewlery whore) and she''ll play with them even if she doesn''t steal them (which she also does) so I have a ton of puncture wounds from stepping on earrings at the bottom of my feet, broken earrings, or incomplete pairs cause she looses them. She can also break into my jewelry box. And if I use a different one that she can''t open... she just pushes off whatever its on and drops it to the ground... where it will either open or trip mommy. Bracelets are better for some reason. She LOVES earrings. I have my fine jewelry I keep in the house hidden away in a drawer where she can''t (normally, although she''s getting better at it) get to it. But I''m still very bad about my stud earrings. I have a nice pair of 11mm stud pearls that she''s gotten a whole of a couple of times. So... no diamond studs for me until I get my act together.
