Has anyone tried Soft Paws for their cat? Slippers is now in the habit of scratching our new couches. I bought her a scratching post and it isn''t working. Thanks for the opinions!!

My parents have been using them on their cats for years and it works really well.

A few tips:
Trim their nails before hand when they are sleepy so you are not doing everything at once
Watch them for a few minutes after to make sure they don''t rip them off while the glue is drying
hold them by the back of heir neck (hold, not lift) it is alming and decreases their range of movement
give them treats afterwards so the whole thing is not as problematic for them

My parents did it on their cats when there were older, so they don''t adapt as well, but it does help a lot. You should also try a cardboard ramp scratching post, I have yet to meet a cat who doesn''t love those things.
