Sizing beads for very narrow band?

I recently had my grandmother's wedding ring resized wayyy down while having a fractured stone replaced. I think I picked the right size... could maybe have gone down a 1/4 size... but the ring would have probably still slipped from upright anyway beacuse the top is heavy and the band is so narrow. Right now I'm shoring it up with two (not diamond) eternity bands - one on either side - and it's okay, but I'd like to be able to wear the ring on it's own.

Is it possible to add these beads to a very narrow band? I think it's only about 1.5 mm wide!

I have 2 sizing beads in my narrowest shank ring. I mean, literally, the band is probably less than 1 mm and the sizing beads work great. I ordered it in my size (5) but when I got it, it was still loose so the 2 sizing beads work like a charm!
