Silver Chain

Dear Forum,

I would like some assistance for purchasing a sterling silver 925 chain. It is to hold, at times, pendants, rings and diamond rings.

I am after something reasonably narrow ~4mm. Close linkages, and somehow unique or special. I would like excellent quality / workmanship. I have heard italian made is meant to be very high quality and will look good for much longer particularly when compared to ebay products.

Any suggestions would be very much appreciated.

Can anybody part with some advice please?
Or are all silver chains equal?

I'm in Australia and at the moment the 'ball' chain is quite popular tho perhaps not as dressy as other links. Two friends bought theirs from Tiffany and one ordered her's online for half the price...can't tell the difference. I'm not an expert but I'd think most SS chains from a reputable supplier are pretty much of a muchness. I just ordered 15 feet of Rolo chain in three different sizes as I quite like the look of it..plain but modern .
