I''m looking to get my stone re-set. My wedding band is a plain thin YELLOW gold, but I''d like to get a platinum or white gold engagement semi mount. I thought about getting the head done in yellow gold just to tie in the band with it. If you have something like this, I would love to see it. Thanks!

It''s actually best to have the head in white metal no matter what the rest of the ring is due to the fact that the white reflects on the diamond and will make it looker whiter than if you use yellow metal for the prongs/head. I might consider seeing if the wedding band could be rhodium plated to make it white.
