I need help! How do you guys decide on a setting for a RHR? I have a beautiful little 5mm OEC that I want set as a RHR but
cant decide on what I want.
Here is my stone. .58 H/SI2...even with a new camera I cant get a great shot of her but she is sooo cute and very flashy!
Here are some of the options I have been looking at. I need some help/opinions on what to go with. I am a SAHM
and dont get dressed up very often. I would like something I can wear with jeans as well as dressed up. I'm trying
to get this done on a low budget but it is somewhat flexible. Can you give me an opinion on which you like the best for a RHR?
Option 1, I love this setting but I'm afraid its to engagment-y looking. It is a stuller setting.
Option 2, This is an etsy artist that creates the setting out of wax then makes a mold. I really like the look of her work and the
fact that it was made specifically for my stone. The settings also have somewhat of an "old world" feel IMO. So, something like
this setting but made for a round stone. (Basically she can do anything I want). She also works in silver so I could do some
mixed silver/gold. Maybe shank in silver, bezel in gold? Her work reminds me of a budget friendly Caleb Myers-ish look.
BTW....here is a link to her process. Has anyone ever used Denim and Diamonds? Corney name (I know).

Option 3 would be a Daniel M bezel setting.
And option 4 would be some kind of budget friendly halo because I dont have anything haloed (and who doesnt need a halo ).
Something like these...
