Hi Everyone,
My boyfriend just bought me a beautiful pair of diamond stud earrings. I just got my ears pierced three months ago and the piercing place said I could switch earrings in April (just in time for my birthday) - so he bought me these as my first pair of earrings!
But the pair he bought me has screwbacks on them and when I tried to put them in I couldn''t get them through. They were just too large and the threads irritated my holes and started to bleed a little. So sadly I haven''t been able to wear them.
I just wanted to know if this was a common problem with screwback earrings. The jewler said that the earrings can be reset to "guardian" backs or "friction" backs, but I don''t know too much about those. Any information would be SO helpful! Thanks!
