Sad day - big oil won

I am very angry to say the least!

Some coastal Alaskan families lost everything do to financial strains brought about by the oil spill. Now they are looking to receive 15k each (20 years later!) in punitive damages!

I guess $$$ does make the world go around and our courts can be "bought."

not just big oil: the law under discussion was maritime.....and the corporations have already made moves to take that decision into other areas. it was a major win for corporations, period.
