Royal Crest

My royal crest ring was appraised lby Marks & Morgan (where it was purchased) shortly after I bought it in 1997...I would like to sell it and feel I should have it appraised again...I am concerned if I take it to any jeweler, they may not be familiar with it...what should I do...

Also, have these diamonds appreciated quite a bit over the last 9 years?

It depends on what market you bought your diamonds as well as their size and quality. Price increased significantly for higher quality diamonds over 2ct. However, diamonds below two carats didn''t get much more expensive while Internet drives markups down. (see chart below)

You can consult your appraiser what would be the best way to sell your jewelry. Just keep in mind that no sales ads is permitted on this forum.
