Ring size 5 and smaller- can I see your halo rings?

Hi LaurenK!

I am still in the process of moving! I have not had internet in a week or so (arg!) so I've been navigating on my phone which isn't too easy. I unfortunately packed all my measuring things, but hopefully it will all be delivered on Friday. I will measure it once I find it in one of my boxes!

If it helps, my diamond measures 6.46 x 6.41. I will get the full measurements of the halo as soon as I can

Here is mine. Centre cushion is just over 1.5 ct. Total carat weight is 2.2ct. My finger is size 5.
I've only just got it, so at the moment it seems huge. I'm sure it won't be long until I have diamond shrinkage.

TruLuv858, my cushion single halo is a 2.3ct center, approx 8.8x7.3mm, size 4.5. The dimensions are similar to your stone and it is an almost-OMB (due to the lack of a larger culet), so I hope this helps your decision!

Size 3.75 (I had this as a 4.25 since I usually stack with 3 rings on one finger) with a 4 carat cushion 10mm X 10.01 mm plat single stone halo.

Love this single stone setting. Wonder if it could be modified for a 3 carat round stone in a hexagon halo? So pretty!

Lovely??? It is so delicate. I had originally taken them out of the running but their quote was really competitive and we have worked with Mark for my original setting so I know he is awesome! Hmmm... This stunner is making me second guess where I am leaning... I haven't made my deposit yet. This ring is beautiful!

TruLuv858, the ring is hand forged. The hand pic I posted was actually the first version of the ring. There was an ever so slight gap between the center stone and the halo which bothered me. DH said it was way too small to notice, but Mark took it back immediately and fixed it No arguments what so ever whether it was worth fixing or not, he just wanted a happy customer! I am more than happy with the final product and would not hesitate to work with Mark and ERD again! I couldn't get clear close up pics myself so I am attaching pics of the second version taken by ERD.

CharmyPoo, I had no idea where to start in my initial cushion search and had only seen modern cushions in person. Your Cushion 101 thread really helped me understand the different cuts and figure out what I wanted. I went back to the thread many times throughout my search. I finally found my tape measure. the entire ring appears to be approximately 5/16th of an inch, which would be 7.9375 mm
The diamond itself measures 6.46 x 6.41 x4.47 mm. I hope this helps!

No worries, it may be a smidge bigger than that, but like, a smidge. My halo is at an angle, so its a bit hard to get accurate, especially with a regular tape measure.

I actually measured again and I think its closer to 3/8 inch which is 9.525 mm
